WHAT IS HAPPENING IN GAZA STRIP??

Posted By: Mano - 10:12

Hamas Warns Israel :We will kidnap Israeli soldiers if you launch a ground attack on Gaza strip.
A Ball of fire seen following an early morning , Israeli air strike on Rafah in the southern Gaza strip.

Hamas leaders issued a blunt warning to Israel against invading the Gaza strip yesterday by promising to that it would exploit any ground incursion to kidnap the Israeli soldiers .
The threat came as benjamin Netanyahu , the Israeli prime minister , pondered sending thousands of troops into tiny coastal enclave after  days of aerial and naval bombardment in which , according to united nations 100 people have been killed.

About 33,000 Israeli reservists are mobilised near the Gaza frontier with tanks and artillery for invasion order which will signal for even bloodier phase of conflict .

Navi pillay, the UN's high commissioner of human rights , criticised Israeli's practise of targeting houses used by known militants, saying it contravened international law. Mr Netanyahu issue a stern riposte saying that international condemnation would not stop Israel from striking the terrorist who attack Israel.  He added that Israel had hit more than 1000 targets since Tuesday after launching  major offencive to deplete Hamas military strength and preparing for ground attack and all preparations is under consideration. Fawzeh Barhoom , a hamas spokesman said that such move will lead to kidnapping israeli soldiers which they will use as bait to free their detainees as they did it in past, he said referring to 2006 kidnapping of Gilad shalit, Israeli soldier who was held in Gaza for five years before his release in 2011 in exchange for more than 1000 Palestine prisoners.

The kidnap threat came from Ihab al-Ghussain , Gaza's deputy information minister and a member of hamas member , who called it "a normal response" to Israeli's actions.

"Israel started this , so i will do whatever i can to stop them even if it means kidnapping Israelis. you still believe in peace process which didn't help our people in Israel prisons. The only way is to kidnap Israelis and use them as bait.

The purpose of kidnapping was to touch the nerve's of Israel's leaders.Last month , three Israel teenagers were found dead in the west bank - a crime Israel blames hamas, which neither confirmed or denied the accusation.

Diplomatic efforts to end the conflict and prevent further escalation seemed to be failing on stony ground, despite an offer by U.S president Barack Obama to help to mediate a ceasefire.while Mahmoud abbas , the Palestinian authority leader , urged the UN to negotiate a truce , Egypt- which was being asked to mediate, having helped to broker a ceasefire that ended an earlier conflict -accused both sides of being "stubborn".

Israeli air strikes killed a further 11 people in Gaza yesterday, including five members of the same family in the southern town of rafah who died when their house was struck by a missile. Latest causalities brought the number of killed to 103 including 23 children .
There was little sign yesterday of that goal having been achieved as missiles continued to hit Israeli towns and cities. One struck a petrol station in ashdod, 20 miles from Gaza, injuring 8 people. Some 53 missiles landed in Israel after midnight on Thursday , while another 18 were stopped anti missile defence, Israeli army said.

ARGENTINA vs GERMANY : PREDICTIONS , HEAD TO HEAD , LINE UPS , LIVE STREAMS.

GERMANY VS ARGENTINA
 SUN, JULY 13 3:00 PM - FINAL
Estadio Maracana, Rio de janeiro
Germany made their way to finals after 2002 world cup after humiliating the Host Brazil with score of 7-1 while Argentina Saw off the Netherlands in penalty shootout to book their place in world's biggest football tournament.

Every football fans will be baiting their hearts world cup final as the hype grew as Lionel messi will be leading the upfront with Muller on the other side while rest of others will be looking forward to stymie their performance.

Germany came into tournaments as Favourites and showed what European heavyweights are capable of with their amazing performance from the start of the tournament against Portugal , they went on demolishing the Brazil in their semi's which made Klose to become the highest scoring player ever in world cup.

Muller and Klose ran down against the weakened Brazilian side who were missing their star player Neymar and Captain Silva, but with this performance can Argentina hold onto their nerves in high aggressions? This all will depend on Sabella's lineup who shut down dutch attacking strength as they didn't allow the oranje side to have any targets for 70 minutes in semis.

Germany will be looking for the possession and attacking with their star players performing well as they combinely scored17 goals in 6 matches so far in this tournament. But will they be able to Bypass the Argentina's equal strong Defencive as well as attacking squad.

Argentina route to the final may not be exiting with showering goals , but they have dominated the opponents. The team has went on to perform well whenever needed and their defence and attacking balance have brought glory to the team.

Lionel Messi ,27 who is playing his first world cup has rose up to several situations to take lead whenever needed and he is  in equal terms with German Star thomas Muller on goals with five , one behind Columbia's Rodriguez.

Messi's present in every match has caused defencive problem in opponent teams Argentineans will hope the greatest player of this generation will be able to summon the spirit of Maradona and honour the memory of recently deceased alfredo di stefano by leading them to victory on the soil of their bitterest rival.

Even Messi will be finding it difficult to  break the heavy defence by Mats Hummels, jerome boeteng , Per Mertesacker in opposition.Even if he does he has to take Manuel neuer who has been a favourite to win the golden glove in this tournament.

Manuel neuer has been exceptionally good inside as well as outside the box as he has stepped up to be a  sweeper time and just behind the German defencive line to keep three clean sheets in total so far.

Argentina should display inch better game against the German side - play tight, field the best squad and take chances when they come. If Mascherano and his co are to display the same defence approach as against the dutch while the attacking upfront workout , they could surely curb the Germans from level to stars on their kit.

Argentina vs Germany : head to head stats

Games played  : 20

Argentina won  :  7

Germany won   :  9

Games drawn   :  4

POSSIBLE LINE UPS:
Argentina : Romero, Zabaleta, Fernandez, Garay ,Basanta, Gago,Mascherano,Perez,Messi,Lavezi,Higuain.

Germany :  Neuer, Howedes, Hummels, Boateng, Lahm,Schweinsteiger, Khedira, Kroos, Klose,Ozil,Muller.

PREDICTIONS : The German side play solid football and their balance in team in attack as well as defence is in high line compared to the south American team.Argentina team is sure to stumble in their defence against the speedy german attack. However with Messi's magic even a goal can turn the event to their favour and make them the champions. Dreaminglend.blogspot.com predicts the game as Argentina 2 - 3 Germany.
